We see you. Yeah, you. We see you putting on your highest heel and priciest suit to try and gain entry into the latest 'it' nightclub. It's Miami. We get it. But... we also know your secret. We know that a lot of times, you don't feel like waiting behind a velvet rope or leasing out your apartment for one night on the town. We know that some times -- a lot of times -- you want to keep it real. Raw. Street. We know that you dig art that comes from the people, music that makes you want to dance, food that comes from the heart (and trucks), drinks that come in cups, and clothes that don't restrict movement.

We know this -- and we're gonna give it to you.

You're invited to Yelp's Streetopia -- Yelp Miami's biggest event to date. On Thursday, January 31, from 7 pm to 9 pm, you are invited to an evening of art, food, drinks, entertainment, and the most fun you've had in 2013. Thrillingly vibrant artist studios/galleries/event space Bakehouse Art Complex is making it all happen. This night is about experiencing art, eating fantastic food, sipping delicious cocktails, moving to your own rhythm, exploring your metro, meeting your neighbor, and celebrating the magic of The Magic City.

IF YOU'D LIKE TO ATTEND (yes, you!), YOU MUST RSVP HERE.
HIT THE RSVP BUTTON TO THE RIGHT. RSVP'ing via the thread will not suffice.
ALL ATTENDEES MUST BE 21+! No exceptions.
RSVP with your REAL name. Stromtrooper X is an awesome screen name... but unlikely to gain you entry to the event. We will be checking ids.
IF YOU DON'T SEE YOUR FACE IN THE BOX IN THE UPPER RIGHT-HAND CORNER, you did not RSVP correctly. Give it another try.
DOES YOUR BFF/SO WANT TO COME? Awesome! Have him/her RSVP just the same way you did.
ALL ATTENDEES MUST RECEIVE CONFIRMATION FROM YELP MIAMI AND BE ON THE GUEST LIST. This is a private event so people will NOT be admitted if they are not on the list.
ELITES: RSVP via the Elite calender AS WELL AS RSVPing here for an additional event! Hint, hint: You can click on your Elite badge to access the Elite calendar.

Miami’s favorite cross-genre event at the New World Center returns this month! Revamped as Pulse 2.0, local DJ Sean Drake joins Fellows for this innovative event. This time for Pulse, Fellows will perform two sets in between two additional dance sets courtesy of DJ Drake, who has held residencies at the Vagabond, Pawn Shop and dating back as far as Shadow Lounge, NFA & Liquid. Additionally, world-renowned native-Miami soprano Elaine Alvarez will join NWS for the evening, singing works by Villa-Lobos and Gershwin.

The first orchestral set includes American music while the second incorporates music by Latin-American composers. The night concludes with DJ Drake’s last set—a dance party in the main performance hall—but guests can also check out "Pulse Unplugged." Organized in the style of MTV’s Unplugged series, Fellows will perform a few of the ensemble pieces without amplification in the pristine and intimate environment of SunTrust Pavilion during a short, 15-minute-long set.
