Free Outdoor Movies


SoundScape at New World Center - a source and a destination for creativity and inspiration. Campus of the New World Symphony, America's Orchestral Academy. And a cultural icon in the center of Miami Beach. The Center is an inimitable foundation for a unique experience, one that you’ll want to share with family and friends.

Designed by Pritzker Prize-winning architect Frank Gehry, New World Center features numerous spaces for performance and presentation; a flexible and variable seating performance hall, and a 7,000 square foot projection wall on which concerts, video art and films will be shown free-of-charge to audiences in SoundScape, a 2.5 acre public park, designed by Dutch architectural firm West 8.

Meet local food vendors and farmers, sample their goods, and even sign up with a CSA during this celebration of local food, organized in conjunction with the final weekend of our exhibition Modern Meals: Remaking Foods from Farm to Kitchen.

Don’t miss our first-ever artisanal food fair. At this all-about-the-food-you-eat event you can chat with the makers and check out their food products (think gourmet popcorn, chocolates, granola), and mingle with local farmers while tasting their produce, cheese, and other goods.

Learn about CSA options, which provide you with fresh local produce during the harvest season.
The afternoon includes the opportunity to take a special guided tour of Modern Meals co-led by museum staff and local farmer Teena Borek, offered at 2:00 pm in partnership with Slow Food Miami.

Participating vendors include Cao Chocolates, Laurie’s Pantry, Pop Nature, Proper Sausages, The Cheesecake Gallery, and Dauphin Kaffee.
Participating CSAs include TeenasprideCSA, Bee Heaven Farm, and Little River Market Garden.

We will be riding through Riverside, Little Havana, West Flagler, Coral Gables (Miracle Mile), Shenandoah, Grapeland Heights, Allapattah, Overtown, and Downtown. The route is availablehere, total distance is approximately 13.3 miles. It's strongly suggested that you print a copy of the map for yourself in case you are tardy or get lost. The ride will end at Grand Central Park for the "Magic City Bike Party, the park is located just five blocks north of Government Center. 

Don't forget to bring bicycle lights. It's the law! We will be leaving at 7:15pm sharp. If you arrive late you will be left behind, the ride starts & ends in Downtown Miami. Rain or shine! DO NOT PASS RIDERS WITH FLAGS - THIS IS NOT A RACE


The Miami Bike Scene and Omni Parkwest Redevelopment Association present.. "Magic City Bike Party"at Grand Central Park in Downtown Miami on September 27th from 8-11pm.

Join hundreds of local cyclists for a special Miami Critical Mass after party at the park. We'll have food trucks, beer, music, and of course bicycles. Admission is free.

Skate ParkThe bike party coincides with the monthly Miami Critical Mass ride which will be starting as regularly scheduled at Government Center, the only difference to previous rides is that it'll be ending at Grand Central Park for the celebration, the group of cyclists should be expected to arrive at the park around 8:20pm.

The Magic City Bicycle Collective will have two tents set up with a repair stand, music, and t-shirts. They will demonstrate simple bike care and do minor bike repairs and maintenance. Buy them a beer, purchase a t-shirt or make a donation!

Bring your bike lock! The park is not responsible for lost or stolen items. Don't lose your bike by being careless. Do not leave your bike unattended if you do not have a good lock.

Grand Central Park is located on N. Miami Ave & NW 7th St, get directions.


Once again.. Miami Critical Mass will meet up at Government Center at 6:30pm as usual, and depart at 7:15pm! The group will ride approximately 13.3 miles and finish at Grand Central Park around 8:30pm for the bicycle party!

Brick-ToberFest in Mary Brickell Village


Bricktoberfest sets out to launch the biggest Oktoberfest beer festival Brickell has ever seen. The beer festival will feature the most popular local, regional, and European craft breweries and specialty beers such as, Cigar City Brewing, Lagunitas Brewing Company, Brooklyn Brewery, Samuel Adams, Sweetwater, Shock Top, Hoegaarden to name a few. Bricktoberfest caters to wine lovers as well, partnering up with Delicato Family Vineyards (DFV) who will be providing their award winning wine.

Beer Snob Pub Crawl


Join us as we kick off autumn and Oktoberfest! The Beer Snob Bicycle Pub Crawl returns for its eighth installment come Saturday, September 21st 2013. Once again we'll be visiting a few new establishments and some old favorites so be sure to check out the itinerary & map provided below. Join as as we celebrate good beer, food and cycling! Come experience for yourself why the New Times dubbed us Best Urban Bike Ride 2011 and Best Activity While Intoxicated 2010.

We'll be starting off at 4pm at 5 Napkin Grill on South Beach! We'll then make a stop at The Abbey, World Of Beer (Midtown), Gramps, and finally The Filling Station. The pub crawl conveniently ends near the Government Center Metrorail Station in Downtown Miami for those who wish to take the train back home vs riding. 

Suggested route available here. Total distance is approximately 9 miles (13 miles if you ride from downtown to Miami Beach).

Remember to bring a bicycle lock. A light is also recommended since it'll be dusk by the time we leave the last bar. The pub crawl should be over by 9:30pm. Cyclists ride at their own risk and assume responsibility for their own safety!

Please remember to DRINK RESPONSIBLY, obey all traffic laws and be courteous to others. This is not a Critical Mass ride and there will be no corking. We invite you to come out and have a good time, meet new cyclists, try some different beers, but most importantly to ride safely. 21+

WoodyStock at Peacock Park


The Woody Foundation is pleased to announce that they are hosting their first benefit concert Woodystock presented by City National Bank on Saturday, September 21st from 3:00-8:00pm at Peacock Park in Coconut Grove. Cris Cab will be preforming at the concert along with appearances from Jahfe, ArtOfficial, Problem Kids and Lanco-O of Kulcha Shok Muzik. This show marks a homecoming for Cris Cab as he looks forward to hitting the stage in front of his family, friends and local fans.This is a free concert open to the public.

Proceeds from this concert will benefit the Woody Foundation who supports those affected by spinal cord injuries. Woodystock is a local free grassroots event for all music and art lovers. Along with the concert local artists will be exhibiting their work in gallery setting. 

The namesake of The Foundation, James “Woody” Beckham suffered his spinal cord injury making a rugby tackle in January 2011. After this sporting accident Woody was so thankful for the support he received from his own community that he wanted to continue this effort of support for others. Two and a half years later the Woody Foundation has helped raise awareness and funds for organizations like The Buoniconti Fund to Cure Paralysis, Jackson Rehabilitation Hospital and Shake-A-Leg Miami.
