Launch of Kolyr at Segafredo Brickell
9pm-3am

Add a little KOLYR to your social calendar at the official launch event of KOLYR, a new line of university-inspired vegan footwear on Tuesday, November 12, 2013 at 9:00 PM at Segafredo in Brickell.

The exclusive, ever-popular French Kiss Tuesdays event series will team up with KOLYR for a fashionable evening showcasing the brand’s first line of University of Miami inspired footwear. This energetic social soiree will bring together French Kiss Tuesdays’ signature taste for class and conviviality and KOLYR’s vibrant new community-driven brand initiative for an unforgettable evening.

Because KOLYR was designed by fans, for fans; the brand will donate 5% of all proceeds to the University of Miami’s Entrepreneurship Club. Guests will also receive a 30% discount on all pre-orders placed the week of the event and be entered to win exciting raffle prizes such as advanced pairs of KOLYR’s inaugural line.

Guests will enjoy premium cocktails by Segafredo Brickell while DJ Youseff sets the mood for celebration on the turntables. Visit KOLYR’s Facebook page for advanced raffle prizes and an exclusive sneak preview of the evening’s surprise guests.

All our shoes are ultra lightweight, flexible and 100% vegan and cruelty free. These brilliant, unisex styles are made to fit any active lifestyle. Canes Fans!! If you're at the Wake Forest game, make sure you check out Kolyr!!
After the game, be sure to head to the Grove for the Canes Crawl.
Both are raising money for the University of Miami!

UM Students launch line of vegan,
university-inspired footwear to raise money for their school.

KOLYR is a line of flexible, lightweight footwear launching this winter that is 100% vegan and cruelty free. The colors and design of the shoes are inspired by various universities in an effort to bring fans together and give students an outlet to support their favorite universities by showing off their school “kolyrs.”

The KOLYR team competed in and placed in the University of Miami’s School of Business Administration’s annual business plan competition and has been working to bring their dream to life ever since. Founders Alex Shapiro, Whitney Kimmel and Tes Michan plan to launch the inaugural line in Miami just in time for March Madness and will feature shoes in orange and green tones reminiscent of their own university colors.

KOLYR is currently hosting a Kickstarter campaign to secure the seed funding necessary to launch the line this winter. After taking the University of Miami’s entrepreneurship class, the founders wanted to put their class theories into action. Shapiro explains, “Taking classes at the Business School made me realize that it is possible to make these dreams a reality. After 13 months of sweat and tears, we have a product prototype that is ultra lightweight and flexible, amazing offshore production partners, and an awesome product that is ready to hit the shelves.”
KOLYR will be sold at sporting events and community gatherings via their Brand Ambassadors program to build on the social experience of being a fan. KOLYR’s Brand Ambassadors will walk around these events passing out swag, creating buzz and engaging fans in cheers and activities to inspire their passion (and getting them in their first pair of KOLYR’s of course).

For more information, or to purchase your first pair of KOLYR's, please visit www.kolyr.com

AFTER THE GAME......be sure to stop by the Grove and support the Canes Crawl.
All funds raised will be donated to the UM Sylvester Cancer Center
