Monday April 20, 2009 - Volunteers' Meeting @ Bayfront Park

Meet at the main (largest) fountain in the center of the park You can't miss it!We'll meet and review the activities and assignments for the main event (and world record event)

Wednesday April 22, 2009 - "Earth Day World Record" (more info)
5:00 PM
Staging at Bicentennial Park (just north of Bayfront Park)This is the main staging area. If your alternative-fuel vehicle has a low-range, we have a 2nd staging area at the Miami Science Museum. The distance from Bicentennial Park to City Hall is approx 6 miles. The distance from Miami Science Museum to City Hall is 2.1 miles.
7:00 PM
Parade begins down Biscayne Boulevard towards Brickell Avenue, down to S Bayshore Drive and to Miami Science Museum
7:30 PM
Parade arrives to Miami Science Museum and low-range vehicles join the parade. The parade continues down S Bayshore Drive towards Miami's City Hall
7:45 PM
Parade arrives at City Hall and Mayor Manny Diaz addresses the crowd
8:00 PM
VIP & Press Cocktail Party starts at the Sonesta Bayfront Hotel Coconut Grove

Friday April 24, 2009 - Event Setup

Exhibitors and vendors may begin to setup their booths at Bayfront Park

Park closes for setup

Saturday April 25, 2009 - The Main Event!
