Opening of Identity by Karim Ghidinelli

Karim Ghidinelli will be showcasing his signature series of fingerprints on metal in a show entitled "Identity" on the August 8th Art + Design Night. Ghidinelli's paintings focus on the fingerprint with his personal reflections and sociopolitical commentary making up the actual print inscribed on the metal. His work has been well received in recent shows in Italy, Kuwait, the United Kingdom, and Canada.

In his works, Muñiz acts as a kind of mediator between inspiration and his pen. His honest and organic work retraces the thin line between innocence and perversion as both elements are allowed to play side by side without guilt or regret, leaving the viewer with a giddy sense of spontaneity.
