Taste of Pinecrest
Each year, the Pinecrest Business Association along with local restaurants and businesses sponsor the Taste of Pinecrest at Pinecrest Gardens. All proceeds from the festival benefit the five Pinecrest public schools. The festival features Pinecrest-area restaurants, entertainment for the children, a judged art show, performances by local school groups and a business showcase.
- Sunday, March 6, 2011 at Pinecrest Gardens. 11 AM - 5 PM
- Free entry and parking for guests
- 20 food and restaurant vendors selling samples
- 20 business vendors promoting and selling services, materials, merchandise
- A juried student art show with participation by all the Pinecrest schools
- A full entertainment schedule with talented students performing in chorus, band, dance, theater, etc.
- Large rides for children
- Hands-on activities for children in a separate area
- A raffle program with several valuable prizes
