The Fair..Be There..The Fair until 3/31

Spring Break is synonymous with the Miami Dade County Youth Fair!
(At least if you grew up in Miami! The Fair...Be There...The Fair!)

 Packed with hoodrats in spandex, hipsters in skinny jeans, mami's trekking in 4 inch heels, WHY?, and overly excited sugar filled children, the most important part of the Youth Fair is not the rides, but the food!!! Elephant Ears, Funnel Cakes, Cotton Candy, Turkey Legs, Grilled Corn on the Cob, Candy Apples, Arepas and everything else that can kill us, but we are willing to take the chance.

There are also animal farms and exhibition areas displaying proud, winning projects by local students (youth..fair) which are always nice to check out.

Admission is $10 and an additional $25 for Unlimited Rides 

(Not so sure about some of these rides...if the operator looks like a crack head..don't ride the ride. Sorry Youth Fair, safety first.)

This is the last week of The Youth Fair.
It runs from Noon-Midnight until Sunday, March 31st

and is located near FIU Main Campus (or the recently renamed Modesto Maidique Campus..when did that change!?)
