Cycling Night at the New World Symphony
Experience a unique cycling-themed evening at the New World Symphony!
In addition to a brisk, insightful and powerfully moving 30-minute concert – which will include Bach’s Suite No. 3, we’re thrilled to present an evening dedicated to Miami’s passionate cycling community.

Led by Emerge Miami and New World Symphony Fellows, cyclists will meet at the Omni Metro Station (1455 Biscayne Boulevard) at 6:30 PM on Friday, and will ride across Biscayne Bay to the New World Center on Miami Beach, an iconic Miami venue designed by star architect Frank Gehry.
Bring food or snacks and enjoy the show picnic style!

DiverCycles Bike Ride starting at Government Center at 10am

Bike Ride celebrating diversity in Miami and supporting immigration reform with a path to citizenship.

Join us in a route passing by Little Havana to Little Haiti.
We will stop at an ACLU of Florida Mural “I am here” created by the Dominican artist Ruben Ubiera, inspired by the real stories of Floridians dealing with our harsh immigration policies.
Ubiera will be at the location to share details about the interactivity of the mural, and José Machado, one of the people represented in the art piece, will be sharing his immigration story with the riders.

At Little Haiti, we will do a tour to the Little Haiti Cultural Center,
and will enjoy some traditional Haitian Cusine (bring cash).

Emerge Miami & Frontyard Theatre Collective present Alice in Wynwoodland

The Front Yard Theatre Collective, Emerge Miami and the Magic City Bicycle Collective invite you to Miami’s first ever interactive theater bike ride.
The theme? Alice, of course! The price? FREE!

What would happen if Lewis Carroll had set his story in Miami?
Prepare to meet wonderful characters, while enjoying skits, music and crazy surprises in every stop!

We will meet at the Omni Metro Mover station at 6 pm (look for the castle doors!) to start our ride into magical, mystical Wynwoodland!

Don’t miss out on this chance to ride around town wearing your best Alice in Wonderland costumes!
At the end of the ride, it’s party time at a surprise location, where we will dance till we drop…. and hold our best costume contest!
We’re all a little mad……. ♥
