Sweat Records opens at 9am for exclusive Record Store Day Releases! 
 The Sweat Street Stage starts at 2pm with a lineup of some of South Florida's best acts. The fun continues through the night with two more full stages of acts next door at Churchill's Pub. 

Once again, this festival is FREE!

Get free Colt 45 at this show/party curated by miscreant artist Aholsniffsglue, during which 32ounce bottles of Billy D's favorite beer will be customized by artists from as far away as NYC -- some adorned with found objects, others stenciled with women, and one that uses graffiti to depict a facial (when it comes to dissuading people from scamming your beer, this works every time). There's also a bbq/live music after-party at Churchill's; more info here

Jay-Z To Give Free Concert In Bayfront Park For Obama Supporters
Seven-time Grammy Award-winning recording artist Jay-Z will headline a major voter registration rally and concert for Barack Obama at Miami's Bayfront Park Amphitheater.

The event, which takes place on Sunday, Oct. 5, will promote voter registration and encourage young people to get involved with the Obama campaign. The deadline to register to vote in Florida is Monday, Oct. 6. To vote in the November election, registration applications must be postmarked or hand-delivered to Supervisors of Elections Offices by that day.

Tickets for the rally can only be obtained before the event by visiting a South Florida Campaign for Change office and are limited to two per person. You must be 18 to attend this event. For more information visit fl.barackobama.com.
