Dear Alumni:
The Student Government Association was notified last night that a member of John Legend's family had passed away. Due to these unforeseen events, A Night with John Legend will not take place as planned on Wednesday, February 11, 2009. The Speaker's Bureau is actively engaging in negations with Mr. Legend's booking agency in hopes of securing a new date in the very near future.
It is imperative that all members of the FIU community who purchased tickets to the event keep them until further notice. We will have another update regarding the new date of the event and/or refund policies on Friday, February 13.

Yay!!! Fortunately, he's coming back to play for FIU Students, Alumni and Faculty.Great pricing at $20, $25 floor seating...So excited..Unfortunately I'm not able to go to tonights concert at The Filmore, but so happy he'll be back in Miami, and playing a small (hopefully intimate enough where he can serenade me, P.D.A baby!!!) intimate show....
