Miami’s favorite cross-genre event at the New World Center returns this month! Revamped as Pulse 2.0, local DJ Sean Drake joins Fellows for this innovative event. This time for Pulse, Fellows will perform two sets in between two additional dance sets courtesy of DJ Drake, who has held residencies at the Vagabond, Pawn Shop and dating back as far as Shadow Lounge, NFA & Liquid. Additionally, world-renowned native-Miami soprano Elaine Alvarez will join NWS for the evening, singing works by Villa-Lobos and Gershwin.

The first orchestral set includes American music while the second incorporates music by Latin-American composers. The night concludes with DJ Drake’s last set—a dance party in the main performance hall—but guests can also check out "Pulse Unplugged." Organized in the style of MTV’s Unplugged series, Fellows will perform a few of the ensemble pieces without amplification in the pristine and intimate environment of SunTrust Pavilion during a short, 15-minute-long set.
