Slow Food Miami and Essensia Restaurant invite you to celebrate the season's last harvest in a Season's-End Soiree. Enjoy local and sustainable bites, libations and community. Join Slow Food for Chef Julie's last garden tour of the Season for a selection of handcrafted, harvest-inspired gourmet canapés accompanied by cocktails, beer and wine.
Slow Food Miami is a 100% volunteer non-profit organization that supports our local community from the ground up – from the Edible School & Community Gardens we plant to encourage the enjoyment of foods that are local, seasonal and sustainably grown; to the local growers and artisan food makers we support for their use of sustainable methods.
Our culinary and educational events support our Edible School & Community Garden Program, and aim to raise awareness of good, clean, fair food as a cornerstone of pleasure, culture & community. All proceeds from our fundraising events and donor contributions support local school and community gardens.
