The hallmark holiday of love is upon us.

Whether you are celebrating with yourself, loved one, kids, friends and/or family..
it's going to be a beautiful and cool weekend in Miami!

Rather than suggest places to dine (and be ever so crowded/waiting among the rest of romantic dining Miamians), escape with your love (loved ones) outside for a fun filled day. 

This year, Valentine's day coincides with the Miami Boat Show, Miami Yacht & Brokerage Show, Strictly Sail Miami (three different shows people..) Coconut Grove Arts Festival, St. Stephen's Art Show, Wynwood Second Saturdays, Art Wynwood, and Marley Fest. If none of those events make your pretty little heart flutter.....

• Rent a CITI Bike (or bring your own) and bike along Miami's bike trails.
  Stop by The Underline at Vizcaya Metrorail Station for special treats and fun
• Visit Chihuly's glass sculptures at Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden or check out Fairchild's Valentine's Day Concert featuring Arturo Sandoval 
• Renew your vows at Coral Castle 
• Enjoy Live Music at the Hollywood ArtsPark Experience: New Orleans
• Romantic Picnic on the waterfront - Stop by Whole Foods Downtown and grab some fresh bread by local Zak the Baker, cheese and wine, and go for a stroll along Biscayne Bay and Museum Park...stop by PAMM for free second Saturdays and History Miami's I LOVE MIAMI Family Fun Day.
• If you are staying in, be sure to whip up some recipes from local blogger Fat Girl Hedonist and treat your love with sweet goodies from local faves:  LA Sweets, Buttercream Cupcakes, Bunnie Cakes, Azucar Ice Cream, or dare to make your own treats a la local blogger Brickellista!
