Bay Skate Miami
Bayfront Park, 5-11pm

The inaugural Bay Skate Miami event, winner of the Miami Foundation's "Public Space Challenge", will officially launch on Thursday, Feb 26th at Bayfront Park. The FREE event will be in support of activating our public parks, giving back to our local community, supporting an active lifestyle, and promises to bring a one-of-a-kind roller skating and music experience to the heart of Downtown Miami. (General Session 5-7pm / Adult Skate Session 7:30-11pm)

Emcee'd by classic hip hop legend Da Real Monie Love, and fueled by live music sets from top DJs, Bay Skate will set the vibe for an old-school, nostalgic experience where guests can skate, dance, eat, drink, and play.

For this special night, Bay Skate will convert the park's iconic Claude Pepper Fountain into an authentic waterfront skating rink with concert sound/lighting, will offer skate rentals, shoe valet, food trucks, and activate Miami's beautiful Bayfront Park and local community for which this event is dedicated to.

The Bay Skate community project was created and being produced by brothers Alex & Marcos Macias, and their award-winning local Integrated Creative Content & Brand Development Agency, Macias Advertising , along with good friends Maggie Fernandez from Sustainable Miami and Devin Cejas from Walk/Urban Landscape & Design.
