Take a canoe tour across Biscayne Bay to Chicken Key under the light of the full moon! A Deering Education and Interpretive Staff Member will accompany you to Chicken Key while sharing some of the ecological facts of the bay. This nighttime adventure includes a campfire and s'mores on the island. Ages 18 and over. For your safety, please wear enclosed-toe shoes. Alcoholic beverages are not permitted.

Evening Under the Stars at Vizcaya is an annual fundraiser that highlights the beauty of Vizcaya at night along with great food, wine and entertainment wrapped in a chic cocktail atmosphere and held under the stars situated before the beauty and brilliance of Biscayne Bay.

This informal, unseated, free flowing event allows guests an opportunity to sample signature dishes and wine pairings sponsored by high-end restaurant venues in Miami. In 2008, The China Grill Management Group was our title food sponsor.

Featured activities include:

  • silent auction;
  • moonlight garden tours;
  • live music and dancing;
  • live vocal and dance performances in the Courtyard; and
  • open bars that include liquor, beer, wine, soda and water.

The combination of fantastic food, superb wine and the elegance of Vizcaya on a delightful spring evening, make this a very popular event and one not to be missed. This is an adult (21 and over) “rain-or-shine” event, proper photo ID showing proof of age required.Please pencil into your calendar a date in late March or early April for next year’s event.
