Join the city of North Miami to promote environmental sustainability, fashion, style, and good taste with an edge.

Project CANway is an innovative challenge to all artists, designers, couturiers, fashionistas, and imaginistas to design, construct and model outerwear and accessories made of recycled aluminum cans. Walk the catwalk in your design on Wednesday, October 28, 2009. Show starts at 6 pm in the MOCA Plaza.

Three winning entries will receive $500, $300, and $200 respectively.

PROJECT CANway is part of the 2009 North Miami Cans for Cash Recycling Campaign

Cans for Cash is presented by the United States Conference of Mayors, Novelis Corporation and Keep America Beautiful, Inc. to assist U.S. cities with sustainable recycling efforts and encourage creative recycling awareness campaigns. North Miami is the defending champion of the Most Innovative Award in the 2008 Cans for Cash Campaign.
