22nd Annual Las Olas Art Fair

We all need to venture out of Miami every now and then..

Probably uncomparable to our own Coconut Grove Art Festival, this weekend the Las Olas Art Fair will be taking over Las Olas Blvd in Fort Lauderdale...

The event is free (parking will probably cost an arm and a leg, and will most likely be a mission..) but you get the chance to explore a great part of Fort Lauderdale, and you get to see art, great people watching (wait, white people and they speak english?) and there are some great little bars and restaurants to check out...Oh and of course, I recommend exiting off I-95 on Broward Blvd., heading right down Andrews Ave., then left on Las Olas...if cars can pass through, pass all the restaurants and galleries, and check out the insane yachts and mansions that line Las Olas Blvd...It sure shuts up our flashy, look at meeeee, nouveau riche Miami bourgeoisie wanna-bees!!!

Encouraged by his boss and blinded by his ambition to join the nouveau riche, Tattarelli accepts voluntary early retirement. A large sum of retirement funds is "advanced" to him through bizarrely structured financial schemes created by the government and international banking systems. Ricardo fulfills his life dream of opening a neighborhood pizzeria, but the shaky foundation on which his new-found wealth is based finally catches up to him. One Peso, One Dollar is a comedy based on the events of 1990's in which Menem´s government artificially set the peso to equal the U.S. dollar.
