REDLAND HERITAGE FESTIVAL
The Redland Heritage Festival, a Fruit & Spice Park-staple event since 1976 celebrating the unique heritage and history of the Redland drawing crowds in the thousands. Participating vendors will showcase traditional natural arts & crafts, nurseries selling native plants and tropical fruit trees, a children’s area, featuring pony rides, face painting, and old time games, as well as a variety of entertainment for the young and old alike.
Featured entertainment performing impromptu throughout the park include: : “Archibaldo” the Living Statue, old time Bluegrass music by Avocado Estate, the “Amazing Chris” who will dazzle spectators with mind boggling magic, juggling stilt walkers, live animal shows and an educational discussion of native Florida wildlife will be conducted by naturalists from Safari Edventures. Animals featured: Exotic birds, reptiles, an Arctic Wolf, snapping turtles, and other incredible creatures. The Pioneer Museum will showcase exhibits and lectures by local historians, as well as cooking demos, horticultural demonstrations, and great food and drink.
Admission: $8 (Children 11 & under are free)
