Little Havana, 7-11pm


Miami’s best arts and music festival on the last Friday of every month, from 7 to 11 pm 
on SW 8th Street (Calle Ocho) between 13th and 18th Avenues. 

Celebrate Viernes Cultural/Cultural Friday. Little Havana’s popular art and culture festival is a great event for the whole family. Enjoy music and discover works by local artists and artisans in and around the iconic Domino Plaza on SW 8th Street and SW 15th Avenue, and behold contemporary and historic artworks at our many fine art galleries along Calle Ocho. Gabel at Big Night Little Haiti

The December 19 edition features GABEL in concert in the plaza. Gabel is one of the most popular next-generation pop konpa bands in Haitian music today. Opening set by Hector Lominy and band. Between sets, DJ Mack Bazile.

In the gallery, an official Art Basel Miami sanctioned exhibit, “Borderless Caribbean”- [Unmapped Trajectories – Annotating Art Histories] exhibition is presented on the 20th Anniversary of the HCAA/Haitian Cultural Arts Alliance, as part of its expanded Global Caribbean series now in its six edition

Plus, enjoy delicious kreyol cuisine from Leela's Restaurant, and other tastes of the Caribbean. Children will enjoy hands on art activities hosted by Positive Impact, Koze Famn Media and the Bass Museum of Art.

Buskerfest Miami 2014, a street performance festival, is scheduled for December 12th! There will be over 40 performance groups at the stops of the Metromover’s Inner Loop, as well as new walkable locations in-between stations.

Buskerfest is an annual Street Music Festival celebrating the diversity of Miami’s local artists through the long revered practice of street performance. The festival seeks to put musicians, actors, comedians, writers, acrobats, jugglers and dancers face-to-face with people who live and work in greater Miami.
