Join Stella Holmes for Brickell Gallery Night at the newest gallery in Brickell - 123 Gallery Miami. The evening event will showcase art pieces by one of the owners, Stefan Slabakov, who will also entertain throughout the evening with a live painting show. Brickell Gallery Night is presented on the third Thursday of every month. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of artwork at this event will benefit the Lowe Art Museum at the University of Miami.

OPENING RECEPTION OF ARGENTINE VISIONS: FROM MODERNISM TO CONTEMPORARY AESTHETICS

Argentina is a major center for Latin American art, particularly in the vibrant and active cultural milieu of Buenos Aires. Known and appreciated around the world, Argentine artists of the twentieth century have consistently absorbed global artistic trends without losing their national identity. JoinCremata Gallery as they present an exhibition featuring an exciting collection of acrylics, oils, collages, inks, and watercolors, from the fifties to today. From Italo-Argentinean Modernist masters Bruno Venier and Carlo Monzani, who has exhibited at the Guggenheim Museum in NYC, to contemporary artists living in Argentina, Cremata Gallery is showcasing 17 artists with very different styles. Enjoy the show with Malbec wines, Argentinian hors d’oeuvres and a special Tango performance by Claudio y Yanira, who teach Tango at the Alliance Francaise of Miami. Exhibit on view from September 15 through October 3, Tuesday - Saturday noon - 6:00 p.m.
