Trunk Threads just launched its inaugural monthly traveling trunk show, featuring 40 to 60% off local designers like Gold Saturn, curated 80s vintage by Shop Bar, plus half-off a second item from Style Lab, including stuff like Last Rights with Miami Dolphin machine gun logo tees, summer weight LTB Denim, DeHaughton denim with flap rear pockets, and buttondowns/polos by Eligible. There'll be tunes from DJ-about-town Ray Milian, free TBD cocktails, and gratis cupcakes from Stella's Sweets that're fashion-inspired, but hopefully not vintage.

In honor of The State Of's first full-length studio album “Day Of Abandon”, $10 gets you an open bar with Mako Vodka, and a live performance by the piano/drum chick duo (who'll unveil their new dark indie pop tracks and delve into some classics), as well as spun tunes by DJs phAxas and Heather Holiday, who's way cooler than her husband, William Workweek.

Club 50 will donate a percentage of the bar proceeds from the evening to ArtCenter/South Florida to help support the continuation
of Story Time.
Story Time is for 4-8 year olds and their parents or caregivers.
This program is free of charge and happens monthly at the Doral Branch of the
Miami Dade County Public Library.
Each session features a book reading, an art project lead by Artist/Instructor
Maria Gonzalez & a book giveaway.
This program is supported by The Florida Center for the Literary Arts at Miami Dade College
and by the Miami Dade County Public Library System.
